FUSED CUFFS
These cuffs are made using a technique I derived from the Shibuichi technique.
Shibuichi Is an alloy developed in Japan during the Shogunate era. The name means "one-fourth" in Japanese and indicates the formula of one part silver to three parts copper. Shibuichi was used to ornament various fittings for katana swords. Similar alloys have been found in pre-Columbian MesoAmerica.
I fuse copper and sterling silver to create organic textures & vibrant colors, Each piece is unique and one of a kind. Because of the nature of this technique, there are no exact copies.
