THE NOTORIOUS RBG
Rest in Power Ruth. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg fought for social justice for the last 60 years. She was appointed by President Carter to the U.S. Court of Appeals in 1980 and then appointed to the Supreme Court by President Clinton in 1993. She has been a staunch advocate for Women’s Rights, LGBTQ rights and rights for Americans with Disabilities.
My favorite quote - "I’m sometimes asked when will there be enough women on the supreme court? And I say ‘When there are nine.’ People are shocked. But there’s been nine men, and nobody’s ever raised a question about that." - Ruth Bader Ginsburg
