Details

Kingman turquoise is one of the oldest, largest, and most culturally significant American turquoise varieties. Mined in the Mineral Park Mining District near Kingman, Arizona, it serves as an industry color standard known as "Kingman Blue." Prehistoric Native American tribes hand-mined the site using stone hammers, dating as far back as 600 A.D..

Turquoise has long been used as a protective talisman against negative energy and the "evil eye".

Native Americans believe the stone represents the sky and water, symbolizing health, life, and the connection between the earth and sky.
